Saving Energy
The best thing about taking steps to save power in your home is that it will also save you money. With energy costs increasingly on the rise, identifying ways to cut your power bill should be top of your priority list. And many of the things that you can do to save power may also cost you very little money.

It is increasingly common to see solar photovoltaic systems on rooftops around our region. This is at least partly due to a number of successful ‘bulk buy’ initiatives by community groups like Clean Energy for Eternity. If you are thinking of buying a solar system we recommend you first read the Clean Energy Council’s Consumer Guide to PV. Also make sure that you look for ways to reduce general energy consumption in your home in conjunction with installing solar panels.
Information about renewable energy and solar hot water rebates is available on our Home Rebates page.
