Harden and Boorowa – Forks, Talks & Walks

Final Report March 2012

Harden and Boorowa Shires collaborated to run a program featuring sustainability and local food during March 2012.

A key feature of the project was the Forks, Talks and Walks event held on Saturday 3 March at St Clement near Galong.  The activities of the day highlighted sustainable country living, and included a local farmers market and a range of sustainability stalls, talks and workshops. Unfortunately extremely heavy rain meant that attendance at the workshops and sustainability fair was drastically reduced.

In the evening, sixty people were still able to attend a musical performance in the candlelit Boy’s Chapel, followed by a gourmet dinner using local produce prepared by top chefs.
